Debby Ryan vs Bryan Cranston — whose hat is better?
I saw an indeterminate fraction (which I estimate to lie between 1/2 and 2/3) of Radio Rebel the other day and felt affronted by the producers’ decision to force Debby Ryan into a panoply of stupid hats — and thus to implicitly endorse the proposition “shy people wear stupid hats”. In spite of this offense, I did like the sleek black one that she seemed to be using to manifest her brazen rebel alter ego. The parallel with Walt’s “Heisenberg” hat is clear, though I suspect not many people will pick up on it since the target demographics of the two shows intersect on a fairly small set.
